S45C Flat steel

S45C steel bar is a medium carbon steel round bar that offers greater strength and hardness as compared to the low carbon grades.     Formability and weldability of S45C is fair when using accepted shop practices. While machinability is good, this grade responds very well to forging and heat treating.

s45c steel bar is a kind of medium carbon steel grade in jis standard with good mechanical properties for a various applications.  s45c Peeled Steel Bar are usually used in many industries like automotive, agriculture, construction and motorcycle.  The medium carbon steel grades are aisi s35c, aisi s40c, aisi s50c, aisi s55c.  Among these materials, s45c steel grade is the most common used material.  We can supply s45c hot rolled steel Round Bar , square bar, Hexagonal Steel Bar;  s45c Cold Drawn Steel Round Bar, square bar , hexagonal steel bar;  s45c peeled Steel Round Bar , s45c turned steel round bar, s45c centerless ground and polished steel Bright Bar, s45c heat treated steel round bar such as s45c Annealed Steel Bar, s45c Normalized Steel Bar and s45c Quenched And Tempered Steel Bar ( s45c Q&T steel bar, s45c QT steel bar).

s45c turned, ground and polished precision shafting is produce by s45c cold drawn or hot roll steel bar to get precision dimension and better straightness in the production of shafts.  The straightness is quite important to shafting CNC machining.  s45c TG&P is used to produce crankshafts, high-speed motor shafts, axle shafts, pup shafts, etc.
